3012 is a wordless picture book I wrote and illustrated in 2012. The story takes time in the future in 3012 where the satellites and space junk takes over the space around the Earth. These have clustered and formed a small planet, where our little fellow lives in.
I portrayed children’s solitude in this book. First experience of disappointment rather feels lonely and helpless. The message to the young readers from the story is that although disappointment is harsh, it is a given chance to learn how to appreciate and value what we already have after we view things in different perspective.
This book also have animated version with Adobe After Effects.
