POPULUS & BIRRAGOZA ARTISAN BEER FESTIVAL | 2012

For the development of naming and corporate image for this brewery along with its products and events, a business name that arouse sympathy and closer to a wide audience sought, is a craft beer consumer, but also a product quality at an affordable price.

A suggestive graphic image to attract attention and invite to try it, working on the current trend in the market of craft beers, informal built. We chose Roman motifs, seeking in part the style of the pots and vases, motifs that evoke white marble on black or dark backgrounds, making it very versatile for future updates to this product.

As a first concept work with basic graphic elements of beer, cereal Tang (forming a crown) and hops, incorporating a hand gesture Roman circus, taken out of context converted to tilt the bottle clear drinking motion. This led a more elaborate possibility for label type "alt red" beer, with an illustration of a musician (POP-ULUS) with layer hop on a cloud of foam raining beer on the audience to festival, combining music and beer, two good friends of the people in what would be a "bacchanalia".

While the launch of the first product POPULUS brand was planned, the BACANALT beer, which is a collaboration between the oscense brewing Gisberga and beer Lupulus of Zaragoza, was brewing both the naming and format of what would become the First Festival Artisan beer Zaragoza, BIRRAGOZA.

The graphic image of the festival took place on the same line to reinforce the brand. Finally I had a great reception by the public and was successful attendance that surpassed all expectations and has ended up becoming, in an unmissable summer of Zaragoza the last 5 years.
