My minor project was to create an awareness campaign that encouraged medical practitioners and patients to engage and attend the Nutrition and Hydration week. I wanted to get the staff and patients to get excited about the events that would take place and to use advance design communication to do so. This area of design is specialist, through the investigation of this area of design it has allowed me to demonstrate my capabilities and has aided me in furthering my development of skills for employability. This is an important event and I feel that in the past it has not been advertised enough and I thought that I could help provide a solution for this.
During this assignment I wanted to deliver a creative solution that would meet the design challenge and also aid my in exploration into how visual language works within different target audiences. My final piece was interactive in order to gain enough interest for people to want to go to the events. I thought that by using interactive design it was a more unique way of advertising the event. The posters consisted of two layers, the first would flip up showing that water is useful and makes up most of the human body.
