Perception was a Massey University paper in the College of Creative Arts. The brief asked us to select an object or a thing- either natural or human made, to consider the theories of perception introduced in the paper. We needed to generate a series of images that explored these speculations. 

Through the process of my project, I explored how my senses are mediated by my comprehension of the ocean’s expanse vastness and responded to the concepts of the natural sublime.

“The horizon we observe… exists in some untouchable, unrealizable place” (Stewart, 2005, p. 103).
