For our first illustration challenge at Plus63 Design Co., we were asked to draw a fellow intern.
I got Didi, an illustrator who has a love for languages (and Japanese fashion). She is currently learning Nihongo and shared her favorite word with us: 愛着--meaning attachment. She explained to us that the first symbol meant love and the second symbol meant wear. I wanted to incorporate all of these into her portrait.
