Student Work: Book Jackets for Nigel Slater's recipe books
This was a second year project I completed, where I based my idea on the speed of a swoosh on the plate. As the brief was to design a series of book jackets, and as Nigel Slater only had two in the range, I invented the sauce book, which I feel fits in nicely. The backs of the books each had the main ingredient of the swoosh sitting under the blurb and I used my own handwriting for the title typography - something I often get asked to lend!
