Student Work
Assorted selections from my tenure at The University of Alabama
Some of this work is from my advertising classes, some is from my graphic design ones, and others are from working at The Crimson White - the campus newspaper.
SmartWool

These three pieces are from my APR418 Advanced Advertising Development course. SmartWool is a brand of performance outdoor gear that uses the finest Merino wool in creating their quality product. These executions are print media.

Year: Fall 2011
Professor: Dr. Glenn Griffin
Montana Gold

This is also a project from my APR418 course, only this time the client is Montana Gold, an artist quality spray paint brand. Although usually used for graffiti or mural painting, I aimed to bring this superb product to the home for crafts and hobbies. These three executions are a piece of alternative media, where popular magazine publications have been subverted to show a different cover. They play off of the interchangeable caps, dual pressure system and the giant array of colors Montana Gold offers.

The Crimson White

These designs are from my internship, designer and manager experience at The Crimson White, the campus newspaper. I started in March 2011 as an intern and held the position of Assistant Creative Services Manager upon graduation in May 2012.
2011 AAF NSAC

I was on the University of Alabama Ad Team for the 2010-2011 school year working on art direction, copywriting, creative strategy, research and production. This iPhone spread was created as part of our presentation, and coincidentally was made before I ever thought about making a real iPhone app. None of this is on the market right now.

Our team competed in Regionals in April 2011 and placed third overall.
