Back in 2008, this Audio R8 was my first incursion on automotive polygonal modeling.
This one was made in 3D Studio Max and rendered in Vray.
Looking back, software render was missing a lot of lighting features, I remember in this example the box lights were simulated with white planes, and no soft decays in Vray.
Rough times...
