Bumbling Bee Vineyards
A line of Italian wines I conceptualized and designed for an imaginary client. Traditional, but if you read more closely, there's humor and a more modern slant.
Different wine varietals are identified through a range colors. This is convenient for our imaginary vineyard because when new types of wine join the family, the client need only select a new color. Money savings for everyone!
A closer look at the label creates the story of our main character. He's lost his spectacles and has now imperiled his own life by flying into the side of the label. The description of the wine's flavor serves as his flight path, and transforms into the bee's narrative at the point of impact. His spectacles can be found in the red area just above the content information. Adding the die cut accentuated the bee's path while adding a sense of the wine's sensuality.
The foil tops of the bottles contain a subtle bee theme.
