Floral Shoppe : Album Book Version [2016]
Floral Shoppe Album Book Version is a personal project for promoting Floral Shoppe, a studio album by the American electronic musician Vektroid (under the one-time alias Macintosh Plus), released on December 9, 2011 by the independent record label Beer on the Rug. For it's essential definition of the vapourware genre and the classic recognition, as the reason I pick this as main subject.
The whole album book included the cover, the illustrations and the designs are created and arranged, by using digital collage technique. Different materials and mediums like acrylic, pencil and digital brush for different texture of illustrations, to enrich the atmosphere of slight psychedelic. To enhance more on the digital toning, some illustrations are specifically made by pixelated brushes in photoshop.
These artworks are created based on my own acknowledges, inspiration and feelings as the final result after the album.
