A Brief History of Gaming

I'm currently in the middle of my Honours Project for uni and I am in the process of creating a Gameboy shaped book timeline.I am pretty happy with how the front and back cover will look but I am still a little undecided on how to present the contents. Essentially the timeline will start from the original 1989 Gameboy, and progress all the way through the Gameboy series and then into the Nintendo DS series (1989-2015). I have a few ideas of having the timeline in the style of a circuit board and have the handhelds connected with wires/circuits etc. Any suggestions and/or advice would be greatly appreciated
This will be the back cover of my Nintendo Handheld timeline.
Finally scanned in all my Nintendo handheld sketches, I'll be using these for my timeline. These will be scaled down to thumbnail images.
I decided to colour them digitally using photoshop. I don't really use a lot of colour in my work but I feel this project would take a huge loss if i just stuck to pen and black ink. I coloured my illustrations digitally on photoshop, I'm quite happy with the outcome considering I have never attempted digital colouring before.
After a lot of shuffling and resizing I think I've finally created my handheld timeline. It was a little tricky putting 13 images onto an A5 spread but I think it will print nicely. I also inserted my lino print of a circuit board for the background which I think works well with my illustrations. Feel free to leave any advice or suggestions. Thanks for looking
