The inspiration for this piece started as a present. My grandfather has a lemon tree in his backyard in Florida. When my parents went to go visit him, they brought me back about twenty of the ugliest lemons I've ever seen. When I went to go squeeze them... Without a juicer... Anyway, I discovered a ton of cuts I have no idea where they came from.
(Here's sketch 1 for my Lemon Juice piece for Lowell, its composition isn't what I was originally imagining, so I'll be taking a different approach to the entire thing here in the next few days.
When Life gives you lemons, make lemonade? Right? WRONG. Sometimes, especially when you've got TINY CUTS on your hands, you should avoid juicing lemons at all costs!
