Created a WordPress plugin for managing a mobile site along side an existing WordPress site. It allows the site administrator to share content between the two versions of the site or to specify mobile specific content when necessary.
User-agent detection is used to load a separate mobile theme. The theme is loaded as a child theme allowing it to incorporate aspects of the main theme and reduce unnecessary duplication. Site owners have the option to specify different home page content and navigation for the mobile site. Also, each page or post can have alternate mobile content. This is useful for managing presentation when visitors might access a page from various devices.
