The brief was to write a manifesto, produce a poster and create a promotional item that articulates the vernacular of an appreciation society. Being a drummer, the society I created was: The Drumming Appreciation Society. In terms of the aesthetic treatment, the motion blur reflects the path a moving drumstick. I felt that this created an interesting typographic style that would become synonymous with the societies identity.
