Head Over Feels is a collection of over 100 quotes from the books published under the Pop Fiction imprint of Summit Books. I was assigned to letter over 20 quotes in this book.

All lettering artists were given the creative freedom to interpret the quotes in any way we liked, for as long as the designs would differ across all our quote assignments.

I rendered a digital version of this (as seen in the laptop screen) in case the scratch paper doesn't register nicely. The publishers ended up using the scratch board version, which also happens to be my only lettering work with a traditional treatment for this book.

For this quote, I wanted to recreate the chalkboard feel through digital means.
