Zaha Hadid was a Iraqi-British architect, famous for her boldness and character, in her work and in her life. Her body of work contains an immense movement, braveness and beauty that few could even imagine. Hadid was the first woman to be awarded with the RIBA Gold Medal.
Zaha Hadid foi uma arquiteta britânica–iraquiana, famosa por sua força e personalidade, no seu trabalho e na sua vida. Seu trabalho contém tamanho movimento, coragem e beleza que poucos conseguem imaginar. Hadid foi a primeira mulher a ser condecorada com a Medalha de Ouro do RIBA.
She is difficult to classify; her approach to architecture could be called "neofuturist", "suprematist", "deconstructivist", "postmodernist" and the list goes on. What is undeniable is Zaha's capacity to warp the space with her fantastic, abstract and geometric style.
É dificil classificá-la; sua abordagem em arquitetura poderia ser chamada de "neofuturista", "suprematista", "desconstrutivista", "pós–moderna", e por aí vai. O inegável é sua capacidade de distorcer o próprio espaço com seu estilo fantástico, abstrato e geométrico.
This project started in a Graphic design and Silkscreen class at Parsons the New School and each student had a random phenomenon to be the subject of a poster. Zaha Hadid was my subject and the development started in April 2016. At that point, her sketches, character and style were the most predominant inspiration for the project.
Esse projeto começou como um trabalho da matéria de Serigrafia e Design gráfico, da Parsons the New School. Cada estudante teve um fenômeno aleatório para ser o tema de um pôster. Zaha Hadid foi o meu tema sorteado e o desenvolvimento começou em abril de 2016. Naquele momento, seus estudos, personalidade e estilo eram a inspiração predominante no projeto.
During the development of this project, Zaha passed away, on March 2016, victim of a heart attack. This changed the project direction, moving it to a tribute, making it more spiritual and sober. Her legacy influences (and will influence) several artists, architects and designers thorough the world.
Zaha faleceu em março de 2016, vítima de um ataque cardíaco. Tal acontecimento mudou a direção do projeto, transformando-o em uma homenagem, sendo mais espiritual e sóbrio. Seu legado influencia (e influenciará) diversos artistas, arquitetos e designers pelo mundo.
