"The Tree of Life" is an American drama written and directed by Terrence Malick contemplating the origins and meanings of life. Set in 1960's Texas, it guides the viewer through childhood memories of a middle aged man interspersed with imagery of the origins of the universe and other experimental elements.
The colours and typeface intend to simulate a vintage feel but still adhere to nature and therefore, life in its basic form.
