Project: iPad 2 Launch Video
Involvement: Designed concepts and visual look for the launch video, storyboarded feature sections, and created rough animatics to show movement, output highly polished 'mood boards' to show what the final look will be. Worked with one other animator on final production of all 3D titles and devices in Cinema 4D including complex scene lighting, camera animation, and animating of Smart Covers. Composited videos in After Effects. Worked with a small team of artists to produce On-Device Attract Loop (ODAL), as well as using the same design to create other sizes of the loop for use as Screen Savers and Window Displays for all computers at the Apple Retail Stores. Worked with a team of artists on the localization of all deliverables to translate them into 17 languages.

Project: Back-to-School Promotion Loop
Involvement: Compositing video, 2D and 3D elements to create a fun, humorous loop for the Back-to-School promotion. Editing and selecting video elements of students, compositing them with 2D laptop images, animating 3D iPods in C4D to work with the timing and positioning in the layout, with further animating in After Effects. Using 2D chalkboard elements, and arranging them to create the final blackboard composite. Localizing for worldwide usage.

Animation of a fluid fabric ribbon that interacts with products and leads the camera through the scenes. Compositing of 3D renders with 2D elements like screens on devices in After Effects. Localization of text and UI elements for multiple languages.

Involvement: The Genius Bar LCD movie is intended to explain complex computer terms and concept in easy-to-understand language, accompanied by animations that illustrate the tips and glossary terms presented. The Genius Bar loop is kept up-to-date with current Apple hardware and software products, and new terminology. Animation in After Effects, Cinema 4D, and asset creation in Photoshop and Illustrator. I have been an integral part of this project for more than 8 years.
