As the album is called They Dont Know, this concept focuses on the idea of keeping secrets. On the cover you can see the boy showing his new purchase to his parents but we can see he is hiding the So Solid Crew album. When the sleeve is flipped over it reveals to us what his parents can see but also that his parents are hiding their secrets from him too. I created images in collage form using cuts from a single magazine.
This cocept looks at They Dont Know being about anonymity. This record sleeve is actually a gatefold so when opened the pixels on the face lift up revealing the image of the 'Crew member' beneath. The pixelation is carried on into the inner sleeve and the back is crossed out to partially hide the text.
This idea looks at not knowing what goes on behind closed doors. In the image you can see things such drinking, gambling and drug abuse. Type is kept to a minimum as the image is already busy and I involved the original album cover to show the name of the group. The back cover carriers on the table top style but is more about representing the music.
