Tropical Storm Colin rolls in to Sarasota Florida. The rain and wind was a bit of a challenge. I also forgot my rain gear. I suppose the drops of rain that you can see add a bit of reality. :) When I left Siesta Key I went to another beach on Shell Road. The last shot is the one I was taking when the wave hit me. I laughed. I got into the Jeep and a wave hit the Jeep. It moved. I still laughed. Made my way home though. Soaked through. Hope you enjoy!
The dark line in the middle is the mat that was recently installed to aid those with disabilities to reach the beach with greater ease. The lifeguard huts were moved back from the shoreline in anticipation of the oncoming storm. It is not sand you see here but the foam that has been roughed up in the waves. I am standing in water.
