From Brooklyn to the Bronx, every weekend thousands of New Yorkers wake up and march to pubs in the early morning hours to watch their favorite Premier League team.
As Chelsea Football Club moved into the city as part of a pre-season tour, Common Goal worked with the football club and creative agency Street Etiquette to highlight Blues fans in The Big Apple.
Together, we created a one-of-a-kind photo series, capturing the ways in which Chelsea’s supporters uniquely demonstrate their passion in New York City — a hub of America’s emerging, evolving football culture.
“Blues in the Boroughs” was jointly hosted on Where Is Football and the official Chelsea FC website, in addition to being shared and republished by prominent international media outlets.
