REFLECTION
I have to admit I absolute know nuts about sewing. It was amzing at how in after 2 weeks I was able to see myself improve so much and can use the sewing machine at home better than my mom can which is surprising and it's an achievement unlocked. I especially love free motion machine stitching because it can look so abstract yet sleek. I has been an interesting journey to learn sewing. It was really fun doing embroidery although at first my stitches were really awful and not in a straight line. The more I did it the better I became.

The completed stitch library. As I go along, I become confident enough to let the machine run at a faster speed.
I also tried free motion machine stitching and it looks really good in my opinion.

APPLICATION BRIEF
I have chosen a lifestyle article from Singapore's Lifestyle magazine. It is titled Into The Night and is and article about Singapore's Nightclub. Below are the scans of the pages of the article.
PROCESS
Was really surprised my grandmother's old sewing machine could still be used after many years of serving me the purpose as being a table to put my things on. I'm really glad this jem can be used.
Looking good overall with the neon colours. However, since I left my hoop in school I have to make do with my grandmother's old one. Apparently mom said it was even older than her. Which is probably why it didn't work as well as newer hoops.
