I was told to pick a Native American tribe to research and develop an arts piece for. The requirements were open-ended so I created a unique logotype and and poster series to promote the Cherokee Art Market. The shapes I used were taken directly from the textiles and basket-weaving of the Cherokee tribe and simplified into clear geometric forms.
