A group project with a common objective: composing a Bestiary made of animals invented by us that would in someway represent their artist.
A photographic images served as a bese, then edited in Photoshop to create a fantastic creature, further elaborated with Illustrator to obtain the final two-toned illustration.
For each creature a name was created as well as a brief caption reminiscent of encyclopedic definitions.
Each image was personally silk-scree printed by each artist, texts and covers composed and printed with a printing press, booklet hand-bound.
Un lavoro di gruppo con un obiettivo comune: comporre un Bestiario fatto da animali di nostra invenzione, che in qualche modo rappresentino il proprio artista.
La base è un'immagine fotografica, elaborata con Photoshop per ottenere la creatura fantastica ulteriormente elaborata per arrivare all'illustrazione finale in bicromia.
Per ogni creatura è stata inventato un nome e composta una breve descrizione il cui stile rimandasse alle definizioni enciclopediche.
Le immagini sono state stampate dal singolo in serigrafia, i testi e la copertina composti e stampati in tipografia, il booklet rilegato a mano.
