The Brief
 
Creatively use paper to promote our new retail space: The Imaginative Papers Shop. 
 
 
The project was based around the 2016 YCN competition project brief, the idea for this project was to creatively use paper to help promote the new shop opening in the London Graphic Centre art shop, when I found the brief I decided I wanted to 
create something that would be a visual piece rather than designing an invitation of leaflet. My initial thought process started when I began researching key things that represented London and also different was to creatively use paper, I took both of
theses areas and combined them. I choses to use the idea of the London underground as it is something that is commonly 
associated with London I then found where the London Graphic Centre is and located it on the tube map, from here I then 
began to draw out the London tube map using Illustrator and this then gave me a basic template to work from. For the final piece I have made it using individual lays of paper that together form the London tube map and I have the incorporated the location of the shop as well as the shop name and company name.
