This illustration, specifically designed for the first issue of Ambra, represents the three italian brewmasters interviewed for the cover story.
The concept behind the cover illustration was to represent the three different visions and methods these brewmasters have, and at the same time the common passion that joins all of them together. Like in an ancient engraving, the three masters are represented as a mythological creature offering the viewer a pint of beer, as if it was a magic potion. Hops are growing all around creating a decoration that ties everything together and gives an old engraving style to the illustration. The strong and vibrant color scheme gives a modern twist to the cover.
