Wat Phra Kaew or Temple of the Emerald Buddha or the full official name Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram, the royal temple in the Grand Palace, was built during the King Rama I established Bangkok as a capital of Thailand to be the spiritual center of the Kingdom.
