Odour Recordings is a House Music record label with a definite idea on their identity. The inspiration for the brand came from the love of old advertisements. Wanting to bring a sense of nostalgia with cover art the wouldn't feel out of place in a vintage book/magazine. Odour Recordings want to put a bit of thought back into Cover art for their releases and it seems to be something that has been lost in recent years as more and more labels turn to clip art style cover art.
The artwork always aims to tie in with the title of the release or with a feeling the music itself may bring and also to create something that would be great to hang on the wall.
