This project was created in my second year at University and the brief was to rebrand a shop in Hendon called 'For Arts Sake', which is a custom frame shop and printmakers gallery. I first of all thought about how the name of the shop could be used as a pun and used this to play on words with other parts of the design. I used a speech bubble and speech marks to make it clear it was being said and then took this further by saying this like "for the love of print", "nice frames" and "oh my frame", which are all a play on words making this a fun twist on the name 'For Arts Sake'. The use of frames ties in the custom frame shop part and to also make this fun and different I used photographs and cropped/framed certain parts to promote they can create custom frames for whatever the need. The colour scheme is greyscale with hints of colour to still add sophistication but every now and then there is a pop of colour to show the creative/arty side of the brand too. From this I then designed packaging, a shopfront, posters, stationery, uniform and a website.
