等待果陀 WAINTING FOR GODOT

Waiting for Godot is a play by Samuel Beckett, in which two characters, Vladimir (Didi) and Estragon (Gogo), wait for the arrival of someone named Godot who never arrives, and while waiting they engage in a variety of discussions and encounter three other characters.

Contemporary Legend Theater based in Taipei adapted the play into peking opera style while still keeping its black comedy spirit.
Nothing to be done....

The art direction was set to represents the endless day and night. We use  the color black and white as the metaphor of boringness as there is only one scene throughout the acts. By doing this we are also able to let the audiences to dive into the deeper philosophy which is hidden behind the play.
There's no lack of void...

The book was designed to enrich the experience of surprises. The idea was to keep the audiences waiting a little bit to see the content as a whole. The traditional asian binding was to bring the concept of the West meets the East which is the core of Contemporary Legend Theater.
