Los Angeles is still making news to venturesome art lovers. Big thinking artists with powerful ideas are in short supply these days. Michael Heizer's artwork Levitated Mass at LACMA , are given a space and a home in perpetuity. It´s treated with respect that becomes a moral point when regarded as a human metaphor. There are few places in the art world where an equivalent stillness exist. Not a socially enforced silence of people, but a stillness that seems to have a physical weight.
