R&J Posters

These posters were designed to advertise a play based on Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet. This project focused on typography and how to effectively arrange text as well as choosing the right font.  Typography is one of te basics of design and reflects creativity and flexibility in design. Though it is simple, not everyone can consider their creation to be a design more than a general arrangement of letters,

Preliminary sketches of a poster design. These comps were created on the iPad and were later taken to the computer and created in photoshop. 

This poster was chosen because it would be the most recognizable to the public based on the bright red that contrasts with black. This project was created in photoshop and was tried with various fonts. Eventually, one was chosen. 

These are three other poster design for the event. Each one is unique in its mood, but has the same message.
