Most things we learned about in operations management were somehow someway connected to a business process.  Business processees are everywhere and are a crucial part of making  a business run smoothly.  I like the picture above because it simplifies what a process is. The picture shows the process of what it takes to go to class  in the morning.  Choices have to be made, and once the choices are made the appropriate consequences are then put in place.  Anything done in the business world revolves around processes.  Hiring and firing people is a process.  Ordering and stocking inventory is a process.  Paying bills and fulfilling payroll is a process.  I am thankful for the opportunity I have had to learn about business processes and will use the knowledge I have gained when I enter the business world.
