my publication Awaken  is centered on mindful thinking. Mindful thinking is the gentle effort to be continuously present with experience. It is paying attention in a particular way; with purpose. It is taking time to be fully in the moment, to live in and being aware of the present. The purpose of this is to clear your mind and relieve yourself from stress, anxiety, depression, and other negative energies we allow our mind trap us in.

The publication's purpose is to create a serene mentality, or give prompts, activities, and advice on how to live a mindful lifestyle. Whether it’s taking time to immerse yourself in nature, or take 10 minutes to clear your mind or meditate. I imagine it as something you pick up in a time of chaos to bring your mind back to a calm, comfortable, and joyful place.
