3 Rings
This project involved designing three rings (smallest fit, perfect fit, largest fit) and producing them using 3D printed materials. The process first involved casting my finger and producing a positive mould. This was then sliced and scanned into the PC to create an accurate digital model of my finger.

Smallest Fit – uses a clip mechanism with custom spring to create a ring with the smallest fit.

Perfect Fit – uses a 3D printed rubber band to hold small individually shaped resin scales against the finger to create    the perfect fit.

Largest Fit – uses a set of three interlinked rings that are aligned in a particular way to allow removal of the ring. The    small ball joints can move freely within each ring creating angular shapes to prevent the ring fitting over    the knuckle.
