The BYU Kennedy Center connects students, alumni and the international community. As an art director at Eli Kirk (now EKR) I redesigned the Kennedy Center website. 

 

The Kennedy Center website is a hub for many different programs run by many different directors, instructors and volunteers. Motivating them to keep their presence on the site fresh was a big goal. If we could make it easier to publish content once and then feature that content in many visible locations without additional work for the content publisher, we knew it would lead to higher involvment.

 

My emphasis was on creating a smooth, intuitive experience for content creators that translated into an intuitive consumption experience for users. I wanted to create meaningful relationships between a single piece of content and any place on the site where that content might be encountered.
