Initial considerations
Capital on Tap offers an innovative lending facility to SME's and suppliers. Their technology directly challenges, re-defines and disrupts traditional banking facilities, helping customers' businesses grow.

Capital on Tap have developed a unique, fully automated Platform which helps customers to access their funds, make transactions in real-time, set up Direct Debits and view all their financial history. Putting the customer in control of their finances.

The creation and Evaluation Process

The first step of interface development consisted of meeting with Stakeholders and system users, in order to understand the expectations of each group in relation to the new interface and get inputs about problems already identified at actual system design.

At a second moment, I tried to immerse myself into new concepts and information that were exhibited, to design a simple and pleasant interface which would enhance the user experience of Capital on Tap customers.

To achieve this objective, several interviews with users were conducted in order to evaluate the new proposal of information architecture and navigation system.

Below you can see more about the interface development.
Wireframes
The initial stage of the project consisted of meeting with Stakeholders, system users and development team, aiming at obtaining more information about the most important functionalities of the system, to learn more about the problems existing on the system and technical limitations for development.

After conducting all unstructured interviews, a large quantity of sketches, wireframes, and digital navigable prototypes were developed and tested with system users.

Design framework
After evaluating the prototypes and wireframes with users and showing collected data to stakeholders, the development of layout and a design framework started.

I sought to design a clean interface, following the branding guidelines of the company and created a new design framework to apply consistency during the design and development phase.

The framework covered any possible elements that can be integrated in the interface: buttons, tables layouts, typography, navigation, modal windows, etc.

Responsive interface
A responsive interface was projected to optimize content visualization in different devices and screen resolutions.

Mobile first
Our data and analytics demonstrated an increased number of customers accessing the platform on mobile devices. The interface is fully adapted to any iOS or Android device
User journeys
Every User Journey was detailed from low fidelity wireframes to final designs, presenting developers with desktop and mobile responsive designs.
