London Olympic Map

To celebrate the Olympic games being held in London, 2012. The Times newspaper wanted to give away something free to all tourist and spectators that would not only serve as a souvenir, but also help them during their visit to London.
For me, the most useful thing to help me get the most out of my visit to London is a map. My design is double sided with attractions, retaurants, bars, and tube stations all identified. I researched the top attractions and places to visit and created icons. The Olympic Rings helped me to split London into easier sections. Simply find the section you were staying in or around at the time, then see all the top attractions near you.

The final addition to my map to make it even more appealling was the die cut, London 2012 logo, which created a unique shape when the map was opened out fully.
On the reverse is the colour-coded key with further details about each attraction, and an address to help you find it.
