Steipe
Display Typeface Design
Steipe was designed while I was studying abroad in Trier, Germany. The typeface is inspired by the Gothic architecture there. The name 'Steipe' comes from a specific building in the city center, that has a sharp pointed facade at the top of the building. Many buildings in the city center of Trier reflected this, and I wanted to reflect this in a modern display typeface.
