Manchester
This project came about as a result of walking around many areas of Manchester, such as the Northern Quarter, Piccadilly, Deansgate and King Street, and stopping to draw scenes of interest. By focusing on people, I was able to express themes of identity, fashion, and body language. Finally, I used the beautiful technique of bookbinding as a way of ordering this visual documentary, and arranged my journey in a long concertina format.
