Penguin Brief : One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
Brief :
We were asked to choose either Ken Keseys 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' or the Brothers Grimm 'Fairy Tailes' and re-create the book cover. I chose to do 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' and started by watching the film and reading the book as research. I used the deck of cards which McMurphy uses alot in the book as my basis and created various ideas for the covers by using just the ace of spades. My final cover I submitted was the first image on this page.
