One of my very first project was the work for new, but very ambitious touristic agency in Siberia.
They wanted name, logo and some very basic branding. One of the main wishes of customer was bright colors - our city so dark and cold most of the year.
Come up with a new name for touristic agency in big city was a challenge. Any words, related to traveling, already occupied. Gosh, we even have three different "Robinson's"!
But after little brainstorm we have fresh and not-trite "Гамак" (hammock). It sounds cool on russian.
The name gave rise to the logo. Few colorful lines threaded in nice looking picture. And little background texture, builded with traveling in mind, made this look good on many things.
