The Art of Making Absinthe
Based on an NPR Article of the same name, this 8" x 10" watercolor and ink illustration is 100% hand done. With it's layout and emphasis of detail, it pays homage to the Art Nouveau style, bringing the focus into the center of the illustration. All of the herbs seen framing the glass are each a small part of what makes this iconic beverage, and giving a bit of insight into how so many pieces can make one thing possible.
