Sunshine Toyota on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast embraced the release of the new Hybrid Camry in 2010 with the launch of a dedicated hybrid vehicle showroom.
Once a quirky innovation adopted by cashed-up greenies, hybrid vehicles are fast becoming mainstream transportation which owner Ian McDowell has been quick to recognise. Along with the backing of Toyota’s proven hybrid technology the future is very bright for this market leader.
Visitors to the new showroom will not only find a wealth of information on the benefits of Toyota’s hybrid technology, but also be able to start and test a vehicle in-showroom first hand on battery power – a feat not possible with fossil-fuelled vehicles. A selection of hybrid demonstrators is also available for road test to fully experience the technology.
