Mai Ha - Trevor Sorbie: British Hair Awards Collection
The Brief:
Mai approached me with the challenge of capturing her hair collection in an editorial style combining crisp black & white images with minimalistic styling.
The Solution:
We took a simplistic approach to the production, settling on a single light set-up with light grey tones running through the backdrops to keep a light and airy feel. This worked extremely well with the edgier subject matter.
The Results:
We created a series of editorial shots that the client used for promotion and a collection of 8x10 prints for her British Hair Awards entry that performed fantastic, taking Mai all the way to the finals in London.
