Dobrokhotchy. Forest demon once lived in the wild forests of Podlasie. He was considered a just judge. Dobrokhotchy never hurt an innocent man, and sometimes even helped as needed. But for the villains were merciless and ruthless.
Fiend - this demon has pre-Christian origin. Inhabited the ancient forests and inaccessible marshes in Poland. Our ancestors accused him of all the evil that they met in life. Therefore, with the advent of Christianity, fiend was naturally identified with the devil, losing completely individual characteristics.
Likho -Small, shaggy, mischievous creature traversing the forests, fields and roads of ancient Slavs. It couldn't stay in one place.Always liked to make mischief and pranks.
Butz also called "didko" or "chicken lung" was a spirit, a who lived in the dark corners of the house: on the rarely visited attics, old cupboards or under beds. At night Butz went out to beat and frighten naughty children, and the most spoiled tossed into a bag and took with him.
Bannik or 'Laznik' was an ancient creature to care for the baths. Once each slavic farm had its banya (steam bath). Bannik was a dwarf with a large head and lush haircut. Basically, it was not dangerous to humans. He lived in the bath, which overlooks. Saw to it that the fires in the furnace not expired, the stones have the right temperature and birch twigs were not too hard. For these services demanded sacrifice - bucket of water every day.
