LWL is one of my favourite magazines to read and look at for terms of film, and creative design. They always have a influential cover with every issue and a beautiful set of imagery for the chosen film of the issue.

Drive, Black Swan, The Tree of Life, Super 8, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
I chose The Tree of Life, because it's a beautiful film to watch with so much imagery to choose from, but because I wanted to doa portrait to keep to how LWL normally design their covers (and because portrait is my fave). Hopefully if you watch the film, you will see and understand why I have made the Lead woman, (the wife, mother), look the way she does, with what i tried to portray as devastation in her eyes. and a child's hand on her shoulder.
I enjoyed making this. I had so much time, so kept forgetting about it after I'd finished to upload it. regardless, here it is.
