"Cybernetic World"
2015 NUMU Finalist
I produced this piece using Photoshop mostly with detailing in Illustrator. I wanted to make a statement about the prevalence of technology in our lives.
Technology is everywhere: in our classrooms, homes, and back pockets. On the one hand, technology is beneficial because it aids us in communicating with each other across the globe. On the other, technology creates disconnection; people no longer talk face to face, human being to human being. We are stuck in our screens.
I created this image to show that we are both connected to technology as well as dependent upon it for our social and personal lives. My message: Find balance.
This piece was a finalist in the NUMU, New Museum Los Gatos, 2015 student competition.
