Lost & Found Talk Series

What is Lost and Found?

Lost and Found is the first message series in the Come As You Are Campaign. This campaign is anchored to the theme of 2016 being the Jubilee of Mercy, as declared by Pope Francis. This campaign talks a lot about God's grace and mercy, and the message of inclusivity it presents. You can read more about Come As You Are here

Theme Build

To start off the year, we begin by identifying the individuals who are in most need of grace and mercy. In the bible, they are recognized as the lost, the last and the least. These are people who are pressed by the pressures of the world and society — emotionally, physically, mentally, and financially. We are called to bring these people home. There is grace for them, there is hope for them. We guide them to the cross, where God meets them where they are.
Early Logo Concepts
Key Art

Originally, the concept was to make use of type elements, to represent the series. But ultimately, we decided to go with a photo manipulated aesthetic that uses a double exposed technique—as it presents to be more effective and upright, as well as more aesthetically pleasing.

Have you ever lost your keys?

Or probably your glasses. Or you might have lost a gadget in a public place.

Have you ever lost a loved one?

These situations usually give us different emotions, and leave us in different states. We feel pressed, frustrated, and confused when we can't find our way. Maybe our self-esteem falls back when we are deprived of opportunities. And sometimes, we give up and think it's all over when the situation is out of our control.

But God meets us where we are.

And just like the father and the prodigal son, He just needs us to make the first step to come to Him.

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him." Luke 15:20

Social Media

Beginning with this series, we created a new strategy that gives people the access to recount the point we have learned through the course of the talk. We started created Facebook albums containing images with the big messages for each sermon in the series.

Worship is our repsonse to God's message. So we also created Spotify playlists of the setlists during each service. Each song is purposefully chosen to support the message on that day.
