This is a cool lesson using construction paper, where the paper is torn by hand to create the image. Using a good quality glue stick, the paper is glued to a black backing.

 These are images from my grade 4 art room. The kids added buttons, and different effects with paper to create their self image. You gotta try this one! They love this lesson!
